General Information
 Boy Scout troop 173 is located in Greece, NY,( a suburb of Rochester, NY.)  
As of June 05 2006, We are in the the new LIGHT HOUSE District of the BSA Otetiana Council.
We have been sponsored by the Greece United Methodist Church,
located at 1924 Maiden Lane, since we started in 1954.
We currently have 12 boys divided into patrols consisting of no more than 8 boys in each patrol.
Most of our leaders are trained: BSA Leader and Red Cross CPR/First Aid.
Several of our leaders are registered merit badge counselors. Our troop is very active in camping,
We try to go camping or hiking at least once a month.

All of our Troop meetings are held on Monday Nights at the Greece United Methodist Church (GUMC) Located at 1924 Maiden Lane in Greece,NY from 7:15 to 8:45 PM unless otherwise posted . Every 2nd Wednesday of the month (or the first Wednesday after the Lighthouse District Roundtable) our PARENTS & LEADERS Troop Committee Meeting, is held at 8:00 PM.,in the educational wing of GUMC.
